Für 2024 rechnet IBISWorld mit einer endgültigen Umkehr des negativen Umsatztrends aufgrund eines höheren Leitzinsniveaus, das die Zinserträge verbessert. Der Branchenumsatz soll gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 0,6 % auf 96,9 Milliarden Euro steigen.
