Select Medical and Grandview Health partner to provide outpatient physical therapy

In 2021, Select Medical agreed to a joint venture with Grandview Medical Center, a subsidiary of Community Health Systems, to create Champion Sports Medicine Birmingham, LLC, which will provide outpatient rehabilitation services. Through the joint venture, Select Medical will provide five existing physical therapy centers that will become Grandview Medical Center’s affiliated outpatient rehabilitation network.
