ESSSuper is member-owned, employs approximately 150 full-time equivalent staff across its operations in Victoria, and is administered from its head office in Melbourne.

Emergency Services and State Super, trading as ESSSuper, is a superannuation fund available to current and former Victorian emergency services and public sector workers. The fund has approximately 132,000 members and controls over $29 billion in assets.

ESSSuper divides its operations into the following:

  • Super: includes a range of insurance covers and superannuation products and services.
     
  • Retirement: provides two retirement options, retirement income streams and working income streams.
     
  • Investments: offers a range of investment options including shares only, high growth, growth, balanced, conservative, defensive, cash, basic growth, ethically minded and term deposit.
