The deal included the Freshers Foods brand and two manufacturing sites in Wigan and York. The business is a leading producer of high-protein ambient snack products in the UK. - According to data from the 2021 Meat Shopper Insight Report, 30% of British consumers are willing to pay a premium for beef with high welfare standards.
