Royal Australian Mint - Products & Brands

The Royal Australian Mint produces and distributes circulating coins and collector coins for the Australian economy, collectors and foreign countries, including Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and the Cook Islands. In addition, the Mint produces a number of medals, awards, medallions and jewellery items for domestic and overseas customers.

The Royal Australian Mint produces the following coins:

  • $2 coin
  • $1 coin
  • 50 cent coin
  • 20 cent coin
  • 10 cent coin
  • 5 cent coin
  • 2 cent coin (withdrawn from circulation in February 1992)
  • 1 cent coin (withdrawn from circulation in February 1992)
