Quest shifted its operations to support supply of critical medical devices in April 2020
Following the onset of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic in April 2020, Quest expanded its ISO 13485 certified service infrastructure to support the heightened demand for the assembly and servicing of ventilators and other related critical medical devices. Additionally, Quest also shifted portions of its workforce to focus solely on the repair of critical medical devices. The company shifted its operations in part due to the Defense Production Act invoked by the Trump Administration, which enlisted private companies to assist with meeting the demands of healthcare institutions.
