Its other subsidiaries engage in the rail line operation between Meridian, Mississippi, and Shreveport, Louisiana; a bulk liquid terminal operation in San Luis Potosí, Mexico; railroad and ancillary services in the greater Mexico City area; and licenses to large blocks of radio spectrum and other assets. It primarily serves the chemical, petroleum, industrial, consumer, agriculture and minerals, energy, intermodal, and automotive markets. The firm is a Delaware corporation founded in 1881. Its headquarters are located in Kansas City, Missouri.
