About this Report

This report is intended to assist buyers of new and used refrigerated trailers. Refrigerated trailers, commonly referred to as reefer trailers, are trailers attached to semi trucks in order to transport temperature-sensitive cargo. Reefer trailers maintain a constant temperature thanks to an attached refrigeration system. Buyers include foodservice operators, trucking service providers, medical facilities and emergency response and disaster planning operations, among others. This report excludes reefer systems, single-body refrigerated trucks, rental trailers, trailers not intended for commercial use, insulated trailers and oil tank trailers.
