The Mobile Telecommunications industry in China operates as an oligopoly. The three largest firms in this industry, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, jointly account for around 96% of total industry revenue, especially in the basic telecommunication services segment. Their networks cover China's entire national market.
