New provincial-level industry collection aims to help users by providing industry data, analysis and forecasts at a more local level
You asked, we answered. IBISWorld, a global leader in industry market research, is launching Ontario Industry Reports. The reports will cover 40 industries across various sectors of the province’s economy, including manufacturing, agriculture, construction and retail.
"Our clients have requested Ontario information to be able to benchmark what is happening [in the province] compared to at the national level,” said Jason Falkowitz, Vice President of IBISWorld Canada. “This collection will allow us to cover Canada’s largest revenue producer on a direct level.”
IBISWorld’s Ontario Industry Reports complement our core Canada NAICS industry collection by offering province-specific information across various industries on the same five-digit level to help you understand provincial industry trends and how they compare against national developments. Use these reports to measure industry performance and better understand how local market conditions affect profitability and success.
Ontario, which houses nearly 40.0% of the nation’s population, represents an estimated 38.6% of Canada’s total GDP. In the coming years, economic performance in Ontario is forecast to outpace that of the overall country. Find out why and see what else is trending in the province with IBISWorld’s Ontario-specific data.
