The Fertilizer Manufacturing industry produces a range of products that service many different markets. Fertilizers are typically made from three key nutrients: phosphorus mined as phosphate rock, nitrogen produced from natural gas, and potassium mined as potash. These nutrients form the basis of two of the main industry product divisions.
