Shandong is the biggest medical material and supply manufacturing province in China, estimated to account for 35.5% of total industry revenue. Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong are all coastal provinces, jointly accommodating 58.5% of all enterprises in the industry in 2014. Enterprises in Shandong and Guangdong tend to be large in scale, while Jiangsu and Zhejiang have more small enterprises.
