The industry has a low industry concentration level with the top four firms accounting for a forecast 23.9% of industry revenue in 2012. Industry revenue depends greatly on the performance of the largest foreign consulting companies. The domestic industry is much younger than those in Western countries; therefore, foreign players operating in China are advantaged in terms of experience, knowledge, and brand reputation.
