The Battery Recycling industry is composed of firms that collect and sort batteries and firms that process and recover materials from recycled batteries. While industry revenue is sourced from collections and sales of recovered materials (e.g. metal), the breakdown of industry services focuses on the initial collection of recyclable batteries based on weight.
